A Smooth Process That Grows With Your Vision

Great landscapes don't happen overnight, and that's a good thing. At Wildscapes Landscape Design and Consulting, every project follows a thoughtful process designed to keep you involved from the very first conversation to the final landscape plan. Along the way, your ideas take shape, your questions are answered, and every detail is carefully considered before construction begins.

Step 1: Let's Get Acquainted

Step 2: Walking the Property Together

Every project begins with a phone call or email. It's an opportunity to discuss your ideas, answer your initial questions, and determine how Wildscapes Landscape Design and Consulting can help bring your vision to life.

Next comes an on-site consultation, typically lasting one to two hours. During this visit, Caroline walks through your property, discusses your goals using a detailed design questionnaire, takes photographs, and records the measurements needed to begin creating your custom landscape plan.

Step 3: Turning Ideas into a Design

Step 4: Refining the Details

Once the consultation is complete, you'll receive a design agreement outlining the scope of work, followed by a deposit to begin the project. Using everything discussed during the consultation, Caroline prepares a preliminary design complete with planting ideas, hardscape suggestions, and design notes for your review.

Your feedback is an important part of the process. Together, you'll review the draft, discuss any adjustments, and make revisions where needed. Once you're completely satisfied, the design is finalized and transformed into a detailed CAD landscape plan. One minor revision is included with standard 2D landscape designs, with additional revisions available if required.

Step 5: Your Finished Landscape Plan

Your completed plan includes everything needed to confidently move forward with your project, including plant recommendations, hardscape layouts, measurements, material suggestions, and, when applicable, irrigation layouts or 3D renderings. If you're working with one of Wildscapes Landscape Design and Consulting's trusted contracting partners, Caroline can help coordinate the handoff of the finalized design. You're also welcome to provide the completed plans to the contractor of your choice.

Step 6: Ready for the Next Chapter

Once your final design has been delivered and invoiced, your landscape is ready to move into the installation phase. Wildscapes Landscape Design and Consulting specializes exclusively in landscape design and consulting and does not supervise construction. From this point forward, installation is carried out by your chosen landscaping contractor, who brings the approved design to life.
