For Caroline, that story started long before the first design was drawn. Growing up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, she developed a deep appreciation for nature and the role it plays in shaping the places she calls home. That passion eventually led her to earn a diploma in Landscape Design from the University of Guelph and build a career dedicated to creating outdoor spaces that work in harmony with the land.
From Native Plants to Inspired Designs
After making Oliver home nearly a decade ago, Caroline began working at a nursery specializing in drought-resistant and native plants, eventually becoming its manager. As more homeowners and businesses sought her advice on designing beautiful, water-wise landscapes, one thing became clear: there was a growing need for thoughtful landscape design.
That demand inspired the creation of Wildscapes Landscape Design and Consulting, a business dedicated exclusively to landscape design and consulting for residential and commercial properties throughout the South Okanagan.
Rather than managing installations, Caroline focuses on what she does best: creating detailed landscape plans that help clients, contractors, and builders bring exceptional outdoor spaces to life.
